Surrounded by sweeping countryside and nestled between the villages of Laidley and Forest Hill, Lake Dyer offers a peaceful lakeside escape in the heart of the Lockyer Valley. Only a short turn off the Warrego Highway, it’s a welcoming destination for families, travellers, nature lovers – and especially water‑sport enthusiasts.
Whether you’re gliding across the water, casting a line at sunset, or relaxing under the shade of a gum tree, Lake Dyer is the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. Both day visitors and campers are invited to enjoy everything the lake has to offer.

Prices are per night for 2 adults and 2 children. Fees may change during peak periods.
Off-Peak: Powered Site - $36.00 | Unpowered Site - $30.00
Peak: Powered Site - $38.00 | Unpowered Site - $32.00
Late Check-Out (1pm): Powered Site - $15.00 | Unpowered Site - $12.00
Key Bond: $35.00
Extra People per Site: Adults $11 / Children* $5*Child rates apply.
Stay & Save
- Aged Pensioners: Stay 3 nights, receive the 4th night free
- Non‑Pensioners: Stay 6 nights, receive the 7th night free
- Free nights are unavailable during peak periods (long weekends, school holidays or special events).

Pets must not enter the lake due to stocked fish protection.
Day visitors: Pets must stay on‑leash within designated picnic areas and kept away from the waterline.

Directions
From the Warrego Highway (A2) at Plainland, take the Laidley exit and follow the signs for Laidley. After approx 8 kms continue through the main street of Laidley. Cross the bridge and take the first right at Gatton / Forest Hill turnoff. Travel approx 2kms and turn left into Lake Dyer/Bill Gunn Dam.
