Aspiring young netball players will have the chance to learn from the best when the Queensland Firebirds drop by Laidley this February for a special training session. 

Thanks to Suncorp, the Queensland Firebirds will be appearing at the Laidley and Districts Netball Association on Tuesday, February 4 as part of their regional tour. 

Children aged 6-17 can register to participate in a paid one-hour clinic with the players, with the focus being on improving passing, defense, agility, and shooting skills.

After the clinic, the kids will have the opportunity to meet the players for photos and autographs.

Clinics are priced at $45pp and will include a Suncorp Regional Tours Hat.

Additionally, Netball Queensland will be joining on the Regional Tour and will be hosting a Come and Try Day for their new program Little Nettys - a fundamental motor skills program for younger children. 

This will be held at the same time and will be suitable for children aged between 3-4. 

The program generates a supportive teaching environment that builds participant confidence and develops a sense of self through encouragement, support, and feedback.
