Lake Dyer is situated in the beautiful Lockyer Valley between the villages of Laidley and Forest Hill, just a short detour off the Warrego Highway. A great spot for a short getaway for the whole family with a picturesque water outlook and shaded facilities.
Day trippers and campers are welcome at Lake Dyer.
Facilities include: camping, caravans, picnic table, toilets, showers, walking trails, BBQ's, playground, fishing, boating, direct access to Lake.
Our opening hours are from 6am to 6pm from September to May and 6am to 5:30pm from May to September.
Aged Pensioners get the 4th night Free and Non Pensioners get the 7th night Free. Free nights are not available in peak periods (long weekend, school holidays or special events).
PET FRIENDLY:
- No domestic animals allowed in the lake as this is a Stocked Impoundment Dam and pet shampoos and flea treatments can be harmful to stocked fish.
- Day visitors – domestic animals must remain on leash at all times, within designated picnic area (not close to water).
- Campers – currently trialing pet friendly stays – bookings essential

Directions
From the Warrego Highway (A2) at Plainland, take the Laidley exit and follow the signs for Laidley. After approx 8 kms continue through the main street of Laidley. Cross the bridge and take the first right at Gatton / Forest Hill turnoff. Travel approx 2kms and turn left into Lake Dyer/Bill Gunn Dam.
