Kids aged five and under will be treated to a special theatre show at the Gatton and Laidley Libraries on Thursday, March 6.

Titled "The Party", the show is a whimsical introduction to the world of theatre, with lots of gentle and playful interactions with multiple sensory elements, props and puppets. 

Little ones will get to know Sweetie the swamp wallaby who is getting ready for her big surprise - her joey is about to emerge from her pouch!

 Luckily, she has her friends Edna the Echidna and Maggie the Magpie to help her prepare. 

The first show will be held at the Gatton Library at 10am, with the second show at the Laidley Library at 1pm.

The show runs for 40 minutes and is suitable for kids aged five and under (but adults will love it too!) 

The 2024 development of this project was supported by The Regional Arts Development Fund - a partnership between the Queensland Government and Noosa Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
