Our spot boasts beautifully grassed areas with ample shady trees, along the bank of the Lockyer Creek. We're all about making your stay a breeze.

We've got a handy dump point on-site, a non-potable tap for your cleaning needs, a trusty potable water tap, picnic tables for al fresco dining, shade shelters, and the all-important BBQ for some tasty grilling.

Now, when you're itching to explore local dining hotspots, we've got you covered. There are local taxis and courtesy buses on standby to whisk you away to the best spots in town. 

And the best part? No need for reservations – just roll on in and grab your camping spot. It's first in, first served, so let the Lockyer Valley adventures begin.

Directions

Gatton, a mere hour's drive to the west of Brisbane or just 30 minutes east of Toowoomba, awaits your arrival right off the Warrego Highway. As you cruise along from the highway, simply keep going straight through the traffic lights (where you'll spot a KFC on the corner), and when the moment feels right, make a right turn onto East Street. After two blocks, voilà, you'll discover the hidden gem known as William Kemp Park, sitting pretty on your left. Free Camp. No Reservations.
