Opened in November 2009, this modern facility is a multifaceted venue that is home to;

Lockyer Valley Visitor Information Centre providing an opportunity to engage with locals, and offering a selection of locally crafted gourmet and artisan products from regional artists and businesses.

Art Gallery where exciting visual art exhibitions change every 6-8 weeks.

Queensland Transport Museum featuring a magnificent display of transport through the ages.

Cafe and function rooms, cater to both individuals and large tour groups and conferences
- and the Gatton Library, for printing and computer access.
The main hall showcases the Lockyer Legends Hall of Fame, inviting visitors to stroll through and learn about prominent figures from the Lockyer Valley. The Lockyer Legends and Champions book, featuring these local heroes, is also available for purchase.
Equipped with wheelchair-friendly amenities and baby change rooms, the Center boasts ample parking, accommodating RVs, caravans, trailers, and buses in the top carpark, with convenient bus drop-off access to the door and drive-around capability.
Outdoor facilities include public BBQs, covered picnic tables, a playground, toilets, skatepark, extensive grassed parkland, dog-friendly walking tracks, a bird hide, and permanent exercise equipment. The parklands also host a weekly Park Run every Saturday morning, and the Lights on the Hill Trucking Memorial sandstone monument is located at the top of the park off Denis Minson Drive.

Directions
The Lockyer Valley Cultural Centre is located on picturesque Lake Apex, 34 Lake Apex Drive, Gatton.
Travelling West along the Warrego Hwy, take the Gatton exit onto Eastern Drive. Follow Eastern Drive into town, turning left at Railway Street (second set of traffic lights). Travel approximately 1 km, turning left into Lake Apex Drive and right into the Cultural Centre carpark.
Travelling East along the Warrego Hwy, follow the Cobb & Co Trail. This will exit the Warrego Hwy at Helidon and direct you through Grantham. When entering Gatton, the Cultural Centre will be on your right hand side. Turn right onto Lake Apex Drive and right again into the carpark.
